A Regional Approach to Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services: A Pilot Project

In late 2012 La Crosse, Jackson, and Monroe counties were selected as a pilot project by the state of Wisconsin to develop a regional approach to delivery of mental health and substance abuse services.  Within three years a new system will be operating that unifies the three separate county systems into a consortium structure that increases the availability, consistency, and quality of approximately 32 services for adults and children.  On this date an overview of the project will be presented along with additional detail regarding action that is expected to occur during each of the next three years.  This is your opportunity to learn how the county based system will be changing and to provide input at the early design stages!
